Nursing Home Employee Arrested After Attempting Sexual Contact With Patient!

A Sumter nursing home employee has been arrested after officials say he attempted to engage in sexual contact with a patient.

Towodi Shequoyah, 36, has been charged with 3rd-degree criminal sexual conduct.

Officials say another employee saw Shequoyah in the 73-year-old female victimaEUR(TM)s room with his pants down and his genitals exposed.

The employee then left the room and contacted the Sumter County SheriffaEUR(TM)s Office.

The victim was transported from the nursing home to an area hospital for examinations.

Shequoyah was taken into custody and is being held at the Sumter County SheriffaEUR(TM)s Office Detention Center. His bond was denied bond during an appearance hearing on February 21. Posted By PSmooth
